Luxoft has an opening of Business Analyst to work for a well-known investment bank in London.

Working as part of a SCRUM team on a major systems implementation and integration programme, the candidate will possess primary skills in either business analysis for investment banking or quality assurance of iterative deliveries, and a strong capability in there secondary skill of either system testing or business analysis.
 
As a member of the team, the individual will be responsible for taking on the delivery of features required to deliver the end product, focused on defining the business requirements and test requirements, as well as executing the necessary test activities and ensuring that automated testing and other quality assurance steps are delivered effectively.
 
As the primary deliverable of this team is a full sub-ledger covering all accounting requirements for the equities securities business, experience of defining solutions, business analysis and testing requirements on large ledger implementations is essential.
 
The role will include responsibilities covering the following:

ensuring that a worthwhile and valuable system is defined to support the needs of the business
define the flow of control, data and responsibilities between system users and system components
define and enforce system scope(constraints of system capability due to time and functionality)
aid the business in understanding the impact of system scoping decisions on desired processes and procedures
define rules governing the accounting process
understand the end to end solution from both a technical and business perspective
work closely in parallel with the rest of the SCRUM team to ensure that delivery of software progresses efficiently
define functional test criteria and agree with the business and product owners
ensure that automated testing is maintained and executed, and execute any further testing required within the SCRUM team or across teams.
 
The role requires strong focus on delivery. The individual should possess enthusiasm and confidence to work unsupervised and make informed decisions in order to meet project deadlines.


Mandatory Skills:

Proven experience and track record in structured analysis methods
Experience of using structured modelling and diagramming techniques to produce innovative process solutions and communicate with stakeholders and clients
Deep understanding of accounting system delivery
Attention to detail
System scope definition and management
Stakeholder management
  Workshop facilitation
Conflict resolution experience
Automated testing
Test definition and execution
Fluent English
 
Work Conditions:
 
This assignment requires a permanent move to London, UK
The company provides the work permit in the UK
After a year spent on-site, the candidate will have an option either to stay in London, or join an off-shore part of the development team in a senior technical or managerial role
